Open Question: what dog food would you recommend for a shih tzu dog and puppy?

Open Question: food agression in my dog.....?
i have a 16month old border and an almost 7 year old cavalier king charles spaniel. when i first got my border collie we had heaps of problems with her at eating times, you couldnt go near her or touch her when food was around and if she had a bone the other dog had to be kept away because if she came too close my border collie would attack her. i worked with her for ages and we have finally sorted out the problems (i hope). i am now able to have both dogs inside when im getting the food ready (i used to have to keep the border collie outside). i tell her to go sit down and she will stay in the same place sitting or laying down till im ready, if she moves i tell her to go back and she will. i can then go and put the other dogs food down on the ground for her and the border collie will go and sit at the back door (instead of the border collie racing over attacking the other dog and eatting the food) once we go outside she will sit down again for me so i put the food down (she used to go straight for the food) and i can make her wait without touching it. i always make her wait for a differnt amount of time, sometimes she gets it straight away and other times i make her wait longer and she will just stare at me. other times i will get her to drop or shake hands before she is allowed to eat and she always waits for me to tell her to eat before she does. i can now pat her, play with her food or take her bowl away without her biting me. ok so now basically what i want to ask is do you think i should/would be able to try see if i could feed the dogs together or have them both inside/outside while one is eating or if i should just keep going the way i am and feed one inside and one outside to avoid having a problem occur
