Open Question: agility training for dogs?
so i might be getting a 5 year old terrier cross from an animal shelter. my mum just told me that the dog could do agility training. i have wanted to do that for ages. i am 13 years old and i have no idea what it will be yet but i want to work with animals. and i think dog training or competitions would be fun. my mum has said that i could do it and i also asked her can i do competitions if she was really good. it will probably be a few years till she could do competitions but i just want to get out there and go for it give it a try. i wanted her as a friend but when i found out she could do that i wanted it to be im training my best friend im testing myself and i want to go out there make my dreams come true with my best friend. i don't think she has had training before im not sure. i don't want to do this because i want to do competitions and if she isn't good im gonna get rid of her i want to do it because it looks fun and if we lost oh well doesn't really matter i just want something me and the dog can to together. so i want to know more about this and what age do you have to be to enter a competition because i am 13 and im gonna be the trainer i want to do it with am i to young to enter a competition do i have to be 16? what is it like? also i want to know of some good places in england to train. any information on this would be great thanks.

What would you do if you worked 40hrs a week and went to school full time if your husband refused to walk the dogs and spend quality time with them. One of the dogs he got with out even asking; he just showed up with it. She is a german shepard who is scared of her own shadow, very anxious and chews up random things throughout the house. ive explained to him that her breed needs exercises and training but he still refuses to walk her daily. Ive threatened to give her away in hopes that he will change but nothing happens. Because of the way she is i feel that giving her away is like dumping our problem on someone else but I don't have time for her myself and i feel really bad for her. I have no idea how to help her. I have tried to get Professional help but its to expensive and i would have to go with her. Would you find her a home? anybody know a cheap dog trainer?
Open Question: I want to get a dog. Help!?
I want to get a dog so badly but my parents say it's tough. I totally know it's tough. I'm willing to do anything to get a dog. No matter how tough it gets. My uncle says that their dog chews all the new furniture. Is there any way to stop this? Cause if I get a dog and the dog does that I know my mom will be so angry. Also my dad says that I'm gonna have to wake up early to take the dog for a walk which I'll do but my parents wouldn't allow me to go out that early. So is there any way that I can train the dog to go outside of the house? Cause my mom says if I'm at school and the dog leaves a "mess" she won't clean it up. And she's not gonna wait for me to get back from school. So I just wanna know if there's a way to overcome these obstacles. Thanks :)
